So back in April, I wanted to start my own blog. I picked Blogger.com as my first choice, like many people choose when they want to start a blog. After five days into the FootBasket.blogspot.com’s existence, we already had eight writers, and we were hitting it hard on the posts. Our site started to grow, and rapidly. At a very alarming rate, the sight reached 500,000 hits five months into it’s existence. The site’s hits started falling, but we still were doing good.

After all was going well, Blogger.com was about to delete the blog for some strange reason. Just to be on the safe side, I put up FootBasket.wordpress.com, just in case is Blogspot gets closed. It didn’t, but I loved the WordPress version so much, I stuck to it. After a month with WordPress, Richie Denis of MVN.com really loved my blog so much, he wanted to recruit it to MVN. This helped me out a lot. MVN would help my blog grow tremendously, and make it popular more around the Internet.

And whoop-de-doo, it actually did. But after about three-to-four months, MVN closed down. I had to move my blog, again. Luckily, I already owned a GoDaddy username in July with FootBasket.com. I had to pick something: Move FootBasket to Bloguin.com’s Network, or make my own blog and build it independently with FootBasket.com. My option had to be the second choice. Although I loved Bloguin, I had to go with my own choice.

But luckily for Bloguin, I write with BloguinOutsider.com: which is the mini-version of FootBasket. FootBasket is also starting their own little blog network, including if you want to write with Fan Blogs. We also partenered with JR Sport Brief, who has been a hit on YouTube.com and reached success to be on NBC.

Now I always wait on this date of April 19, where we all celebrate our site’s birthday.
