Culpepper Signs with the UFL
June 8th, 2010
Daunte Culpepper, unable to secure a shot with an NFL team, has decided to reunite with his old Minnesota Vikings Head Coach Dennis Green and has officially signed with the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League.
Culpepper is probably the biggest name to sign with the league in its early existence. Simeon Rice did play, but he was well past his prime when he played in 2009 for the New York Sentinels. Culpepper may be past his NFL prime, but I think he can still gunsling it around the field a bit.
Daunte would like to lead a wide open offensive attack, much like he did in Minnesota, but The Mountain Lions, who played 2009 as the California Redwoods, struggled a bit offensively.
Saints To Sign Patrick Ramsey
June 7th, 2010
Jeff Duncan of The New Orleans Times-Picayune is reporting that the New Orleans Saints will sign a veteran quarterback before the start of training camp. Duncan predicts that the Saints will sign Patrick Ramsey.
The Saints did not re-sign Mark Brunell (Another former Redskin) after the season, and they are still searching for a veteran to back up Drew Brees. Chase Daniel (Who spent time with the Redskins) is currently the Saints top backup, but he is nothing more than a third quarterback at best.

O.J. Simpson Out Of Jail? Playing Indoor Football?
May 10th, 2010
Ok. O.J. Isn’t out of jail, but as I was scouring the web today I found out about an Indoor Football Player named “O.J. Simpson” who plays for the Omaha Beef.
Obviously an indoor football player is not top notch talent, but Simpson took the time to put a video together of his highlights.
The only problem?
There are no highlights. All I see is a video of every pass this guy has ever caught.
No offense to O.J. Simpson, but I hope you can find some better highlights than that.
Here is his bio off of the Omaha Beef website:

Free Agency 2010: Quarterbacks
April 11th, 2010
With the end of the 2009 season, teams are starting to look into the future and beyond. Here is an in-depth look at quarterbacks who are expected to be free agents in 2010. Check ReservationForSix.com for more free agency previews in the next couple of days.
* Jason Campbell – Washington Redskins – (RFA)* – His future in Washington very much depends on whether Jim Zorn will be the head coach in Washington next year. Could start for some teams. Is defiantly at a crossroads in Washington. Has played pretty well considering how bad the Redskins line is.
* Chad Pennington – Miami Dolphins – (UFA) – Will probably not be re-signed after the Dolphins have unloaded Chad Henne. A stop-gap solution, who lacks an NFL arm. The Dolphins will be just fine with Chad Henne, Pat White, and Tyler Thigpen in 2010. Henne has the ability to make all of the throws, and he gets the balls to receivers fast, two things Pennington can’t.
* Bruce Gradkowski – Oaklkand Raiders – (RFA)* – Will probably be re-signed, but the question is as a backup or as a starter. Has much value and intrigue, but the Raiders still might opt to try to move forward with JaMarcus Russell. Russell does not seem willing to take a paycut, so it will be interesting to see how the whole Raiders-saga will turn out
* Kyle Orton – Denver Broncos – (RFA)* – Will get re-signed, but he could be franchised or signed to a average to high tender.
