Andrew Bynum has really been a diva this past week. It all started when he shot a three-pointer that missed badly, forcing him to get benched by Mike Brown. In the video highlights, Bynum was seen laughing on the bench.
Bynum was then seen being ignorant and not taking place in the team huddles.
“I don’t take part in the huddles,” he would say. “I’m resting … getting my Zen on.”
Bynum was all reportedly being a headache in the locker room.
With all of this, the Los Angeles Lakers have fined their young center of an undisclosed amount for “numerous infractions.” The fine came after Bynum took it to the last straw when he skipped a meeting with the team’s general manager, Mitch Kupchak.
Reports the source:
Bynum told ESPNLosAngeles.com he was unaware of the fine before getting into his car outside the Lakers practice facility and driving away after the team’s shootaround in preparation for their game against the New Jersey Nets on Tuesday.
Bynum has also been out with a knee sprain, so he is expected to play against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.
Bynum really needs to get his act together, because the Lakers already have had enough drama to deal with this season.
