Guess Who’s Back? Manny Ramirez Signs with Oakland Athletics

According to ESPN’s Pedro Gomez, Manny Ramirez will be making his return to the MLB as he signed a one-year deal with the Oakland Athletics worth $500,000.

However, Ramirez will still have to serve his 50-game suspension. If there are no rainouts during the season, Ramirez could be back by possibly July 2 versus the Kansas City Royals.

Ramirez will be turning 40 years old soon and has a total of 555 home runs. He last played for the Tampa Bay Rays, where he appeared in five games.

What do you guys think of the signing? Will this benefit the A’s?
