The Cleveland Indians haven’t gone off to such a good start this season, with a 1-4 record. For the struggling offense, they brought in Johnny Damon as they signed him to a deal today. However, terms of the contract have not been disclosed.
The 38-year-old was last seen playing for the Tampa Bay Rays last year, as he batted .261 with 16 homers and 73 RBIs.
Damon is looking to get to 3,000 hits now, as he is only 277 shy of the big milestone. Damon also played for the Yankees, Royals, Athletics, Red Sox, and Tigers.
Looking forward to seeing what he does this season.Powered by Sidelines
