I guess Ryan Mallett wants everybody to eat some crow, after leading the depleted Ravens to an upset over the Steelers last Sunday.
In a possible shot at one of his former teams, Mallett attributed his success to having the support in Baltimore that he hasn’t always had with other organizations.
“What Matt and Jimmy did for me meant a lot. I’ve been in quarterback rooms where it’s every man for himself. They didn’t have to be as helpful. You hear things are different in Baltimore, and I was seeing it,” Mallett said.
The sudden praise he heaped on Matt Schaub and Jimmy Clausen can only be taken as a jab at Brian Hoyer this season and Ryan Fitzpatrick previously in Houston, where Mallett flamed out because he didn’t own an alarm clock.
