Blake Griffin is either super sensitive, or he has a problem with drinking while being super sensitive.
According to TMZ Sports via witnesses, Griffin, a Clippers teammate and equipment manager Matias Testi may have had drinks prior to the now embarrassing argument outside of a restaurant that ended with the forward slugging his friend twice.
According to several witnesses, Griffin and the equipment assistant were seen fighting outside of Sotto Sotto restaurant in Toronto on January 23rd.
Before the fight, witnesses say Griffin’s crew was spotted at Coco Lezzone — across the street from Sotto Sotto — where the group ordered a couple rounds of drinks.
We’re told the guys left Coco and went to Sotto … where they spent roughly 2 hours before witnesses saw the men fighting in the street.
Griffin has since apologized:
Clippers coach and president Doc Rivers said he doesn’t believe alcohol was a factor, while also saying that Griffin was learning a huge lesson.
