The tax man can go to hell, because Neymar’s about to get paid.
According to ESPN Brasil, Neymar signed a new five-year deal with Barcelona that only put him behind the legendary Lionel Messi on the Blaugrana’s payroll.
The new contract, signed at the time, it will be from the middle of this year and is valid until June 2021. The current contract lasts until June 2018. Under the new agreement, Neymar will have the second highest salary of the cast, behind Lionel Messi.
The announcement of the contract extension, which has been a constant theme in the Spanish press, it was not done at the time of signature for commercial purposes and the tax issue involving the ace Barca.
Neymar reportedly signed the deal in December, but put off announcing until he resolved his tax-related issues in both Spain and Brazil.
