“Obviously he has an injury on his knee and something with his shoulder,” head coach Alvin Gentry said. “I think they are going to talk to doctors this afternoon and we’ll know a lot more then.
“I wouldn’t say no to that,” he said when asked if the Pelicans would be more inclined to end Davis’ season. “I think we got to be smart collectively, along with him. Like I said, I think we’ll know a lot more after they talk to doctors today.”
Davis is the leading scorer and rebounder for New Orleans, averaging 24.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
