Johnny Manziel believes he’ll play in the NFL in 2016, and I can see why he’s so confident after the announcement that he’s hired super agent Drew Rosenhaus, ESPN reports.
Manziel, a 2014 first-round draft pick, never panned out on the field in Cleveland and is facing legal problems off the field.
Erik Burkhardt, Manziel’s former agent, dropped the QB as a client after the season. He said in a statement: “It has become painfully obvious that [Manziel’s] future rests solely in his own hands. His family and I have gone to great lengths to outline the steps we feel he must take to get his life in order. Accountability is the foundation of any relationship, and without it, the function of my work is counterproductive.”
According to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, Rosenhaus will have to get right to work, seeing as there is no interest in Manziel.
