Montrezl Harrell should know better, and is lucky he didn’t get half a season.
The Houston Rockets forward has been suspended five games for pushing a referee during a scuffle at the end of a D-League game on Saturday.
Harrell, who was playing for the Rockets’ D-League affiliate Rio Grande Valley Vipers, was pushed by Bakersfield Jam forward Derek Cooke Jr. after the final horn.
Harrell has struggle to adapt to the NBA game as he averaged 3.6 points and 1.7 rebounds in 38 games with the Rockets. The D-League is easier than Louisville for Harrell, as he averaged 24.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, a steal, and 2.4 blocks in 12 games.
