Brandon Ingram will provide Coach K with another successful one-and-done after declaring for the NBA Draft, via the Players Tribune.
"Today I’m declaring for the NBA draft. So I’m thinking back about my year at Duke and everything that led to where I am today. The first thing that jumps into my mind is the day I got a call from Coach K. You don’t forget that day. He was coming to Kinston, N.C. To my house. It was my junior year of high school."
Ingram averaged 17.3 points, matching the third-highest average by a Duke freshman in school history. Ingram is the seventh Duke freshman since 2011 to head to the NBA, a run that started with eventual NBA Rookie of the Year Kyrie Irving.
