What was originally a face of emotion from a legendary athlete in his 2009 Hall of Fame speech has now turned into one of the most popular memes on the Internet now.
The Crying Jordan meme was made years ago, but it has caught fire on Twitter and social media over the past year, and it doesn't look like it's going to stop. It seems like the new generation of kids may know MJ more for this meme than his sneakers or his play.
But what does the GOAT think of all this? According to former NBA player and good friend Charels Oakley, he tells TMZ that Jordan hates it.
Guess MJ can't complain, though. It's definitely given him more publicity, and he is a billionaire after all. At this point, he might as well release Jordan Brand "Crying MJ" clothing, apparel, and sneakers now.
