James Harden just signed a four-year, $118 million extension with the Rockets that continues his reign as the face of the transitioning franchise.
With talented but injury prone pieces around him, Harden will get all the shots he wants while trying to lead a hungry team back to the playoffs.
During his press conference to announce the new deal, Harden was asked about the new-look Warriors and didn’t mince words when calling them a “really good team” that will have to figure out how to share the ball.
“Obviously the Warriors are a really good team …but there’s only one basketball. You’ve got to figure it out," he said.
Harden knows just like the rest of the league that if Golden State can remain unselfish, while getting more efficient, they’ll be the ultimate problem for the rest of the league.
