I find it hard to believe that Lance Stephenson has that bad of an attitude, but looking around the league and seeing him still unsigned has to be disheartening.
Stephenson averaged 14.2 points per game in 26 games bounce-back games with the Memphis Grizzlies, but according to the Boston Globe's Gary Washburn, "Born Ready" may just have to look across overseas to find a deal and a team.
One free agent who may have to head overseas is Lance Stephenson, whose option was not picked up by Memphis. It’s uncertain why the Grizzlies passed on Stephenson, who averaged 14.2 points and shot 47.4 percent from the field in 26 games after he was acquired from the Clippers. Stephenson has enough talent to help a contender, but the question is whether his quirky personality has scared off teams.
Stephenson joins guys like Josh Smith, Ty Lawson and others looking to get signed by training camp.
