I mean, it’s a conflict of interest from the view-point of the networks being joined at the hip.
On Thursday night during TNT’s NBA telecast, Ernie Johnson asked Charles Barkley for his opinion on the hot-button topics in advance of CNN airing the final GOP debate.
CNN and Turner are one as I said before, so it had to rankle yet make many happy to see Barkley touch on sensitive subject matters on primetime television. Barkley didn’t disappoint, first ripping his brethren company, CNN.
“I love CNN because they’re part of our company, but they’ve been kissing butt, chasing ratings,” Barkley told Ernie Johnson. “They’ve become like Fox News.”
Trump supporters weren’t far behind.
“It’s sad,” he started out after being asked to explain Trump’s rise in popularity. “To insult people, but then you’ve got these losers who love them because they’re afraid to look in the mirror and say why their life sucks, so they have to blame other people.”
