ESPN.com reports that St. Louis Rams wide receiver Donnie Avery is will be out for four-to-six weeks due to an injury that was caused on his foot.

When he took the MRI, it was any ordinary damage.

It was a significant damage.

This was even worse then when Avery got soreness in his left foot on Saturday morning.

This started to get way out of control.

That's when the Rams dispatched the report.

The St. Louis Rams are lacking on the their wide-receivers.

They are having a hard time deciding on their top three options to play behind Avery.

Those receivers include Keenan Burton, Ronald Curry, and Laurent Robinson.

ESPN.com says they appear to be the three best for not only Avery, but for the team of St. Louis as well.

Avery was drafted in the second round of the NFL Draft last year (also the first wide receiver taken in the Draft as well) for the Rams and caught 53 passes for 674 yards and three touchdowns during his campaign as a rookie player.

I wish all the luck to him coming into the new football season of 2009-10.
