Can anyone stop Russell Westbrook right now?
After a very long (too long) hiatus from nightly recaps, it’s time to get right into the action after some ridiculous performances to begin December. There were 12 games on the schedule, so here are the top five most notable matchups.

Oklahoma City 123, New Jersey 120

There’s nothing fantasy owners, and Russell Westbrook apparently, love more than a triple overtime game. The MVP candidate went for 38 points, 15 rebounds, and nine assists in the win. Kevin Durant did not play (day-to-day) and Westbrook took full advantage. Jeff Green also had himself a night, going for 37 points, five rebounds, and four assists. He made all nine of his free throws, hit four three pointers, and did not turn the ball over. James Harden went for 16 points and seven rebounds in the win.

Jordan Farmar owners have to hope Devin Harris will miss more than the reported two games. Why? Farmer poured in 28 points and handed out nine assists to go along with two steals and three threes. Anthony Morrow added 25 points, including a three at the buzzer to send the game to overtime, and Brook Lopez finished with 28 points and 11 rebounds. Kris Humphries was his usual rebounding self, grabbing 15 boards in the triple overtime loss.

Toronto Raptors 127, Washington Wizards 108
