New York Jets' star receiver, Santonio Holmes, will be able to play today as the team takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars at home. Holmes was earlier listed questionable for the game due to knee and quadriceps injuries.

Linebacker David Harris and safety Eric Smith will also be able to play. Harris had a tendon damage to one of his toes and Smith had a sprained ankle.

According to head coach Rex Ryan, Holmes pulled his quadriceps during the team practice on Thursday. However, Holmes then said on a local radio show that the doctors will determine if he'll play or not. It looks like the doctors have given him the nod to play.

The same can't go for Jaguars' starting receiver Jason Hill, who cannot play today due to a hip injury. Hill was looking to create buzz on Revis Island today, but now he can't. If you hadn't heard the news, Hill told a Florida newspaper at star cornerback, Darrelle Revis, was overhyped -- mostly because of the New York media.

Revis' reply was that he didn't even know who Hill was. Ryan said Hill has to be kidding. But it looks like Hill can't prove his statement today and he's gonna have to wait later in his career, or maybe if the Jags make the playoffs and they visit there this season.

Another big loss in the receiving corps for Jacksonville as well is Marcedes Lewis, who has a pulled calf.
