We all know what happened as Serena Williams lost to Samantha Stosur in a stunning finish in the final round of the U.S. Open. Williams would have an outburst against the chair umpire.

Williams later said that her emotions got the best of her.

"My emotions did get the best of me this past weekend when I disagreed with the umpire," Williams tweeted. "It has been a long road to get back to the US Open this year, and I am thankful to have had such a great two weeks in New York."

Williams would be fined $2,000 for berating umpire, Eva Asderaki.

This isn't the first time Williams has done this. She has had a history of tirades before, one most notably in 2009 in the semi-final against Kim Clijsters.

Williams violated the code violation by saying the following to the umpire:

"You're out of control."
"You're a hater, and you're just unattractive inside."
"Really, don't even look at me."
Williams should just really calm down. She can really tarnish her legacy a bit with things like this.

Keep it under control, girl.
