Bush reportedly said Miami "stinks" following the Dolphins' overtime loss to the Denver Broncos at home last Sunday.
Miami blew a 15-point lead with three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, eventually falling in the extra period.
Bush was understandably upset after the loss, but to add insult to injury by criticizing his team is simply counterproductive.
Similar to the Chris Johnson situation earlier this week, Bush's comments come off as arrogant and that he thinks "I'm above the team" more than anything else.
These comments don't raise awareness about Miami's 0-6 struggles; rather, they only add to the negativity surrounding them.
Bell's reaction has so far been met with positive support from the Dolphins' locker room, and that about proves the point that Bush was out of line.
His production has been down in 2011, only 329 total yards and one score, and whether that's because of the offensive line play or his own, Bush must first get better by improving as a leader off the field.
For a veteran back in his first season with a new team, these comments seem surprising, but for a player like Bush, who is not used to losing at any level, learning to become a pro takes longer.
