Apparently after Troy Polamalu was pulled from yesterday’s game with concussion like symptoms he was recorded using a cell phone on the sidelines. Using a cell phone is strictly prohibited by the NFL and Profootballtalk.com is reporting that it could be in the range of a $25,000 to $30,000 fine. Though Steeler’s Depot is reporting that it was handed to him by the team physician and he shouldn’t be fined, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
The good news is that Polamalu’s injury doesn’t look to be serious and even Coach Tomlin noted that they “wanted to err on the side of caution.”
