Robin van Persie Gives Arsenal Victory Off Hat-Trick

 

Robin van Persie helped give Arsenal the 5-3 victory over Chelsea, after scoring off an amazing hat-trick. 

The victory gave Arsenal's manager, Arsene Wenger, his 500th career win. 

"We knew that we needed a win here and we kept going to win the game," he said. "Overall I feel that they had a good team performance and they have shown great spirit. We gave too many chances away in the first half. But we always looked dangerous through the whole game and I hope the team strengthens its belief with a performance like that to focus on getting stronger and stronger."

van Persie broke the 3-3 tie with the hat-trick. 

However, Manchester City still remains on top of the Premier League standings after a win over the Wolverhampton Wanderers.
