Ever since injuring his right foot in the 28-0 devastating loss to the Chiefs, Oakland Raiders' running back Darren McFadden missed last Sunday's game versus Denver. With that, it ended up in an Oakland loss, 38-24, bringing them down to 4-4, tied with Kansas City and San Diego for the AFC West lead.
However, Oakland is in for a huge game tomorrow night as they face the Chargers on a big AFC West Thursday night showdown. The Raiders are gonna have a tough time, as they are on the road heading to San Diego.
But it gets worse. They will be without McFadden, as it was reported that he will not be able to play tomorrow. He has been wearing a boot and crutches all week.
"That mid-foot sprain is really something," Raiders coach Hue Jackson said. "You have to get back to walking first before you can do anything, so my main thing is to get him out of that walking boot first. That would be huge progress, and I think he's closer to having that happen."
Meanwhile, Michael Bush will be the man for tomorrow. It actually won't be that bad, though. He had 96 rushing yards in the last game and I wouldn't be surprised if he helps Oakland in the rushing game again tomorrow night.
It's still going to be a tough game, and without McFadden, it just makes things a whole lot tougher.
