As it seems like there will be no NBA season, despite talks resumed today between the NBA and NBPA, players are still going overseas. Deron Williams signed with the Besiktas of Turkey. Ron Artest signed with some team in Britian and Tyreke Evans signed with a club in Italy. Wilson Chandler and several others are in China. Everyone is looking somewhere to play, and overseas is the answer.

Lamar Odom recently joined in, as the recent Sixth Man of the Year joined with Williams to sign with the Besiktas. If Odom stays with the club for the whole year, he can have up to $2 million for the season. Like Williams, Odom has an opt-clause that allows him to play in the NBA again if the lockout ends.

The Besiktas have been looking for a big man to pair up with Williams, as they looked at Kevin Love first. However, Love turned down the offer, so the Turkey ball club's next big target was the Lakers' forward, who signed eventually.

The Besiktas big man before was Cavaliers' Semih Erden, who however suffered a thumb injury, which made them in the hunt for another big man. They have talked to Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer, and were talking to Brook Lopez as they were awaiting on Odom's decision. Some other players are on the radar for the Besiktas, like Nene and Marcin Gortat, as they could use a good center.

Looking forward to seeing what the 32-year-old Odom has to offer.

Now I'm looking forward to see what Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant do.
