Even though teams can't make deals to players until December 9th, the NBA has allowed the squads to talk to players starting today. And some teams have already made some deals ready to go, like the New Jersey Nets have done so.

Right now, the Nets are looking to have point guard Deron Williams as the team's future, along with a big man. The team's manager, Billy King, has aggressively been looking for a top-tier big man to help this team out, as it clearly looks like it this team wants roll ahead without Brook Lopez for their big man of the future.

"We have some holes in our front line right now," King said, "so that's a priority. That's where I'm focusing right now."

According to ESPN.com, New Jersey was already in the making of proposing a deal to the Orlando Magic to land Dwight Howard. They would send Lopez and two first-round picks, along with absorbing Hedo Turkoglu's big contract. Along with the amnesty clause, they will be able to get rid of Travis Outlaw's big contract.

However, King said he hasn't talked to the Magic executives in a while.

"I'll go on record. I haven't talked to them since February of [this year], and that was just checking in on the deadline as you do with everybody," he said. "I have not had any conversations with my good friend [Magic GM] Otis Smith, as everybody speculated I have."

Many have asked if he will go into talks soon with Orlando.

"I wouldn't plan to tell you if I would," King replied.

Howard will be turning 26 soon and Williams is young as well; having these two would definitely help for the future along with building attraction as the team relocates to Brooklyn for the 2012-13 season.

ESPN's Ric Bucher said on SportsCenter today that Dwight Howard will most likely be traded this season instead of re-signing with the Magic or going elsewhere after this season ends. Sadly, for Nets' fans, Howard would like to go to a contending team, a big market, and place with nice, warm weather. So that may close the door on New Jersey, just like what they tried to do when they wanted to land Carmelo Anthony last year.

However, don't rule out the chance of Howard going.

Other scenarios for Howard, according to Bucher, include the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks.
