Former NBA star and ESPN analyst, Jamal Mashburn is being sued for causing a car accident back in February that left two motorists injured.
TMZ.com reported Mashburn was accused of being the cause of the accident that left two people badly injured. One of the alleged victims claims she was physically scarred and disfigured as a result.
However, Mashburn is fighting the case. He says that the 'victims' were using a cell phone and not wearing seatbelts which could turn the case in his favor. He also says they are lying about the extent of their injuries.
The victims are suing for $15,000, which is a small sum for a former NBA player who is still gainfully employed. But if they weren't following the rules of the road I'd fight the case also. He might be in a position where he loses and has to pay up.
