With how great Jeremy Lin has been playing so far, I am sure many teams have regretted passing on him, most notably the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets for cutting him. Rockets' general manager, Daryl Morey admitted today that he regrets letting Lin go."We should have kept (Jeremy Lin). Did not know he was this good," Morey wrote on his official Twitter account on Thursday. "Anyone who says they knew misleading U."
Morey also said on Twitter, "Finally, really happy for (Lin). Very hard working, nice, & humble. He has a great, great future."
Lin, 23, so far has been amazing for the New York Knicks as the team has probably found their missing point guard they needed all along. And it helps once they have Baron Davis returning. But even with that, Lin looks like the answer.
The Harvard graduate finally made himself popular in his first game as a Knick when he put up 25 points. After that, he started the next game, dropping 28 points and eight assists. That's when Linsanity took over. And just last night, he rolled against the Wizards with 23 points and ten assists, including an awesome dunk where he crossovers John Wall.
This guy is truly a sensation. He's gonna start getting better and better once New York gets their main core of guys back like Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire.
And let the NBA team regrets begin.
