Jeff Saturday and Peyton Manning have probably made one of the best quarterback-center duos of all-time in the NFL. With Saturday being a close friend of No. 18, there's no question that he knows a little thing or two about the saga that has been going on for the past month.
Saturday cleared the air on NFL Network, saying that Manning will play for sure in 2012.
"I talk to him regularly,” Saturday said. “I love (No.) 18. He’s my guy so I communicate with him regularly. He’s doing his deal and he’s getting ready and he’ll be playing football. I can assure you of that."
Manning has recently been cleared to practice now and has been throwing. The big question is that where will he play? Could the Colts keep him and draft Andrew Luck? Recent reports now have been saying that Luck is willing to back up Peyton now.
I guess we'll see what happens soon, but so far, the Colts future has been looking different. Reggie Wayne is set to leave along with Pierre Garcon, as he recently rejected an offer from the Colts. The only main guys we know that are staying intact are Dwight Freeney, Saturday, and maybe Robert Mathis.
What do you think? Where do you see Manning play next year?
