After the past few years where Reggie Miller didn't get into the Hall of Fame, he finally did. It's about time.

The Indiana Pacers' legend was selected today as one of the Naismith's Hall of Fame finalists for 2012 along with Rick Pitino, Don Nelson, Bernard King and Ralph Sampson.

Miller was known for his clutch and hitting big three-point shots time after time. Even though I wasn't born at the time, I loved watching highlights of his spectacular games against the New York Knicks, where also taunted Spike Lee.

"When you're in the backyard and you're trying to play the 3-2-1 game, and you're trying to be the Iceman (George Gervin) and do the figure roll. ... Now to be on the same stage with these guys. It's just a great honor," Miller said.

Miller was a five-time All-Star, spending all of his 18 years in the NBA with the Indiana Pacers, where he totaled 25,279 points. The class will be announced on April 2 at the NCAA Final Four in New Orleans.

Congrats Reggie and to the rest for your contributions to the game of basketball. You definitely deserve it!
