Ever since Derek Fisher was traded to the Houston Rockets, many have expected that the 37-year-old point guard would get cut. It certainly may look like that will happen, as Fisher has yet to report to the team.
As of right now, Fisher's status with the Rockets is read "not on the team," as McHale says he does not know if the Rockets will move forward with him or not.
"That's not in my job description," McHale said. "He's not here. If he was here he'd play. He's not here. I haven't seen him yet."
Fisher has been avearging about six points and three assists per game this season. Who knows where the 16-year veteran might end up?
What do you think? Will Fisher be with the Rockets, some other team, or no team at all?
