Following a 97-92 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Lakers' guard Kobe Bryant addressed the departure of longtime backcourt running made, Derek Fisher, who was traded to the Houston Rockets on the day of the trading deadline.

"Very difficult," Bryant told ESPN Los Angeles. "I'm not used to it because I've been with him my entire career, aside from that little stint that he had away from us. So, it's very different for me. It's pretty weird."

Bryant joined the Lakers with Fisher as rookies in 1996. Together, they helped the franchise win five championships.

"I think I was shocked just like everybody else ... We've always been close and we'll continue to be close."

Bryant said he wasn't he wasn't angry about the trade, as the Lakers got a young big man in Jordan Hill and a first-round pick in return. Adding to it, Los Angeles also traded Luke Walton and Jason Kapono to get Ramon Sessions.

"I've been here for awhile and I've had some of my closest friends go, starting with Caron [Butler], Ronny Turiaf, Lamar Odom and Derek," Bryant said. "So I've been through it so many times before."

And like Mike Brown said, he didn't tell Kobe about the trade. Bryant was asked by the reporters if he was informed.

"Don't start no (expletive)," Bryant said. "I'm not even going to answer it. Everybody would be too shocked."

It's obvious he's still hurting, but I'm pretty sure he'll get past it. Fisher will ended up retiring this season, as it seems like now.
