Houston Texans tight end Joel Dreessen visited with the Bengals earlier this week during his free agency tour, which has included stops in New Orleans (before all of that happened) and Tennessee. According to John McClain with the Houston Chronicle, Dreessen is visiting with the Denver Broncos on Thursday, where wide receiver Andre Caldwell followed hall of fame quarterback Peyton Manning.

@McClain_on_NFL:Texans TE Joel Dreessen is visiting Denver today. He visited saints. bengals and titans.

Cincinnati is obviously in the market to add to their tight end depth with Bo Scaife (season-ending injury during the preseason last year) and Donald Lee hitting free agency. Currently the Bengals only have two tight ends signed into 2012 in Jermaine Gresham and Colin Cochart.

If they're unable to sign a veteran tight end during free agency, expect one of their nine draft picks to focus on a tight end, if not a versatile blocker they can use on the offensive line and in the backfield. But if they bring back Daniel Coats, I'm punching a hole through my helpless and innocent wall.
