The Philadelphia Eagles have long been trying to trade cornerback Asante Samuel ever since they acquired Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Nnamdi Asomugha last off-season.

The Eagles are trying to make the veteran cornerback take a paycut, but it seems unlikely. However, according to Titans Insider, the Tennessee Titans may have some interest in him.

It makes sense, since they lost their best corner in Cortland Finnegan during free agency. Along with that, they could use some veteran presence with their young corners in Jason McCourty and Alterraun Verner,

The Eagles, according to PFT, are looking for a third-round pick in return for Samuel.

What do you think? Is Samuel a fit in Nashville?
