On Thursday, former Rutgers wide receiver Mohamed Sanu got fooled by a prank caller when he disguised as a scout saying that the Cincinnati Bengals were going to draft him at the 27th pick in the first round.
It never happened and Cincinnati ended up taking Kevin Zeitler instead.
However, it looks like the prank caller predicted Sanu's destination correctly, as the Sanu ultimately ended up in Cincy when they picked him 20th overall in third round on Friday.
Sanu took his excitement to Twitter:
Thank God!! Im a Bengal for REAL!!!! AHHHHH!Bengals baeby!!!!

Sanu's agent, Mike McCartney, found out who the kid was as it was just some student from Rutgers.
"I just said to the kid, 'Do you understand how much pain you just caused? And it's not just him, it's his family. Do you understand what you did?' " McCartney told the Star-Ledger. "At that point, there was nothing more I could do."
When the phone call came on Thursday night, the number showed up with a 908 area code, which is from New Jersey. Nobody was aware it.
"My mind doesn't work like that. It just doesn't think, 'Oh, this could be a prank call,' " McCartney said.
Now all things are well for Sanu as he lands on the team that "called him" on Thursday. He's going to fit well with A.J. Green as they both look to reek havoc on several NFL secondaries.
