It may be his seventh season in the NBA now, but Andrew Bynum is still 24 years old. In his first full season in the NBA, Bynum has been playing solid, but like any young, developing star, he has an ego and maturity issue that needs to be dealt with.
Bynum has showcased that this past week. In fact, he took it so far that he was fined by the Los Angeles Lakers. Bynum showed another act of immaturity in the team's 112-107 loss to the Houston Rockets, where Bynum made a nice shot over Luis Scola in the post but then taunted to the Rockets' bench afterwards, getting himself ejected from the game.
The Lakers were trailing 84-83 with 11:17 left in the game. Had Bynum stayed, Los Angeles would have had a better chance of possibly winning the game.
But then again, Bynum is 24, and things will hopefully soon be fixed with the kid.
