Arkansas Razorbacks head coach, Bobby Petrino, was hurt in a motorcycle accident today, according to ESPN's Joe Schad, but there were no life-threatening injuries and he is expected to recover.
The university says that the 51-year-old is in stable condition and will make a full recovery. A source told ESPN he was pretty banged up but he will recover.
The accident happened in the community of Crosses, which is about 20 miles away from the university.
Petrino will be entering his fifth season as the Razorbacks head coach, where he led the team to three bowl appearances, including a win over Kansas State in the Cotton Bowl this past season. His record is 34-17 all-time.
I wish a speedy recovery for Petrino.
