Ever since Steve Nash said he'd consider joining the Miami Heat this off-season, rumors are coming up of what contender he can go to. Nash has said he wants to go to a team that looks like title-contender next season, something the Phoenix Suns don't look like they have.
Nash has been connected to rumors with the New York Knicks since last season, and now he appears in them again as he could join them via free agency this off-season.
It does seem like it, but with Mike D'Antoni not as coach anymore and Mike Woodson at helm, is it still possible? Apparently, it is. According to a source close to Nash, he will consider the Big Apple still.
It looks like it could work out well, as Nash will take over as starter and teaming up with Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire. However, it may be tougher for them to retain Jeremy Lin. Because of Lin, it doesn't look like Nash will go there. Along with that, it will add more drama than there already is there.
I really don't see the 38-year-old wanting to deal with that, even though New York has been improving...especially Melo himself.
In my opinion, I see the point guard heading to South Beach.
