Ever since his career season back in 2009 (107 catches, 1,120 yards, seven touchdowns), Steve Smith has struggled through injuries jumping from the Giants to the Philadelphia Eagles last season. Smith only appeared in nine games, having eleven catches for 124 yards and a touchdown.
However, today Smith has signed with the St. Louis Rams as he will now be catching passes from Sam Bradford. Smith's contract is for one-year with $1 million with an additional $1.5 million due to roster bonuses.
Smith probably regrets where he is now, as he could have been making much more money as a New York Giant, but he turned down a six-year, $36 million contract.
We'll see what he can do for this rebuilding St. Louis team.
