With the Dallas Mavericks getting swept Saturday night by the Oklahoma City Thunder (thanks to James Harden), their next focus is improving their roster in the off-season via the draft and free agency.

The Mavs have a lot of cap space for this summer to land top free agents Deron Williams and Dwight Howard.

Their No. 1 priority, however, has to be the Nets point guard. However, the Mavericks don't have a better shot than the Nets currently do for the All-Star guard.

Writes the Daily Dime:

One source well-acquainted with Williams' thinking told ESPN.com this weekend that the Mavericks, in their current state, have no better than a "50-50 shot" of getting D-Will's signature in July ... despite the fact that the Nets aren't any closer to landing Howard than they are.

I honestly think Williams will end up staying and signing an extension with the Nets. Their major hype now as they move to Brooklyn will really entice D-Will to stay this summer. The Nets also have a better chance of getting Howard as well.
