Rumors have been coming up of the Brooklyn Nets looking to trade point guard Deron Williams instead of letting him walk during free agency.The rumor was that the Nets would do a sign-and-trade by putting Williams on the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for big man Pau Gasol.
For Lakers fans, it would be a dream come true. However, it doesn't seem like it would be possible, according to Stefan Bondy of The New York Daily News:
