Nash is a free agent this summer and has said that he wants to compete for a title. Phoenix offered him two-years, $20 million but the Suns are no where close to even competing for a title.
This is where the Bulls come into play.
Chicago has the big men he could play around in Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer. Nash would greatly increase both of their play on the offensive end.
Rose is a scoring guard. I think if the Bulls signed a pass-first point guard in Nash, they could slide Rose to shooting guard upon his return. That lineup would be pretty scary. If the Bulls could pull off a two-year deal or a high, one-year contract, they could easily compete for the title and maybe even win it all.
Nash and Chicago both have one thing on their mind and that is a championship. If this could happen, Rose would happily move over to shooting guard for a year or two to win a title.
Nash will also be looked at by other teams. Miami and New York are two other top contenders for his services. He will have a busy summer by being courted by many teams. I think Chicago should be considered by Nash and the Bulls front office.
We will see how the free agency dominoes fall in July and it seems like Nash could be the first one to set things off. Just think: Rose and Nash in the same back court. That's got to bring some chills if you're a fan of the game.
