The news has officially come that Chris Bosh is out indefinitely with an abdominal strain.

According to Tom Haberstroh of ESPN, he thinks that after hearing Bosh and the team talk, he would be surprised if Bosh is available until the Finals.

This could be a huge blow to the Heat's chances of winning a title and even winning this series. Will the Pacers take advantage of Bosh being out for the whole series?

Miami thought the MRI would show worse, but it turns out to only be a moderate strain. Nonetheless, it is still a huge blow to the team.

"It's not the worst thing that could happen... we'll see how my body responds." Bosh said.

He also didn't rule out not coming back later in the series.

"In this season, nothing would surprise me."

Bosh is probably being too optimistic. This type of injury will keep him out for the rest of this series and even longer into the future. Now, Indiana has a chance to steal a game or even win the series.

Roy Hibbert now goes against the duo of Ronny Turiaf and Joel Anthony for the rest of the series. He should be able to dominate with relative ease against that duo, but he's been inconsistent before.

David West will now go against LeBron James on defense. Nobody was able to stop West's pick-and-pop offense. James is probably the only one on Miami who could stop it.

Now that the news has come of Bosh being out, will Miami be able to survive against Indiana?

We will find out soon enough.
