World Peace, now seven games later from his suspension, has re-joined the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday for practice, looking to help the team overcome in the Denver Nuggets in a costly Game 7.
World Peace is needed for the Lakers to have some momentum, as they blew a 3-1 lead following Denver's two big victories.
"(Saturday) is more about, kind of like all bets are off," World Peace told ESPN Los Angeles."All in. Whatever we have to do as a team. It's not about what I can and what I can't do. It's about really what I'm going to do."
Kobe Bryant really would like to see World Peace return. Bryant was doing everything for the team on Thursday night in their 113-96 beating, thanks to Ty Lawson's 32-point showing. World Peace can help bring the tenacity and help-defense that Los Angeles could definitely use, as Bryant says so himself.
"I expect him to come out and play with the tenacity that he's known for," Bryant said after Game 6. "He's the one guy that I can rely on night in and night out to compete and play hard and play with that sense of urgency and play with no fear. So, I'm looking forward to having that by my side again."
Game 7 tips off on Saturday night at 10:30 PM ET.
