During a game between the Washington Nationals and the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday night, outfielder Jayson Werth broke his wrist.

Werth -- who used to play for Philadelphia before signing a seven-year, $126 million deal -- was later heckled by Phillies fans, receiving some very rude remarks.

Werth says this encourages him and he wants to get healthy as soon as possible so he can prove them wrong and get revenge, as he wrote in an email to the Washington Post:

"After walking off the field feeling nauseous knowing my wrist was broke and hearing Philly fans yelling 'You deserve it,' and, 'That's what you get,' I am motivated to get back quickly and see to it personally those people never walk down Broad Street in celebration again."

Philly fans have been known to be a little more extreme, so I'm not surprised that they heckled Werth, especially since he was a former player of the city.

We'll see if Werth gets back at them.
