The Denver Broncos made the football world go wild back in January when they shocked the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the NFL Playoffs, beating them off a Tim Tebow touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas in overtime.
Pittsburgh linebacker LaMarr Woodley still looks back at the loss as a game the Steelers could have won.
In fact, Woodley thought the Broncos were an easy team to beat, as he tells The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
“What gives you motivation is not playing in the Super Bowl, getting eliminated in the first round, losing to a team we had no business losing to. It’s a team we should have easily beat. That’s motivation, watching teams play the week after us.”
The Broncos ended up losing to the New England Patriots in the next round.
