The Charlotte Bobcats are coming off probably the worst season for any team in the history of the NBA.

With that, they are heading into a new direction. It all started off with owner Michael Jordan firing Paul Silas, who struggled in his tenure.

Charlotte is in need of an experienced coach. According to the New York Daily News, former Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan could be their guy:

We’re hearing that the Bobcats may take a look at Jerry Sloan to replace Paul Silas. ....The obvious connection between Jordan and Sloan is that they both have their numbers hanging from the rafters in Chicago’s United Center. Beyond that, Jordan has great admiration for the coach he twice defeated in the Finals, at the end of his second three-peat.

Sloan has been mentioned before to be interested to go back into coaching. About two months ago, it was rumored that he could coach the New York Knicks.

It would be extremely beneficial Charlotte can land him.
