Ed Reed shocked many on Thursday in an interview with host Adam Schiano of Sirius XM NFL radio, saying that he isn't "100-percent committed to playing next year."

Reed, who turns 34 in September, has been rumored for some time to retire, thanks to some injury problems as well.

For the past few years, Reed has been believed to call it quits from the league. He'll likely be a Hall-of-Famer if he makes the decision.

Reed is an eight-time Pro Bowler with 57 interceptions under his belt, along with countless plays that have gone for scores on defense. He was a true playmaker.

Although the words may seem like a lot, I expect him to play out the year. Reed was one game away from his very first Super Bowl last season, but a missed field goal to the New England Patriots diminished all of those hopes.

What do you think? Do you see Reed staying?
