It all started out with him and Kanye West releasing one of the biggest-hyped albums in Watch the Throne.
Then along came his child Blue Ivy being born, being probably the most popular baby in our generation. Who can blame her? Her dad is Jay-Z and her mother is Beyonce!
Then came the announcement of the Nets new look as they move to Brooklyn, with Jay-Z designing the logo. He even helped out in building the upcoming Barclays Center this summer.
Mr. Carter talked about his upcoming role of becoming a father.
"Well, I mean, everyone imagines they'll be a great dad," he said on "Oprah's Master Class: Special Edition". "Until they're teenagers saying, 'Get away from me, Dad. You're embarrassing me!' Right? Everyone images that, right?"
Jay-Z also said that he sees himself spoiling his daughter.
"I imagine I'll take things I learned from my mom and things I've learned from raising my nephews and apply that," he said. "Then, at the end of the day, I just know I'll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever."
It wouldn't be surprising. He's one of the richest hip hop artists in the game, with his net worth believed to be up to $460 million.
Things are going quite well to say the least for Jay-Z at this point.
