The 2012 Playoffs continue, as Day twenty five is behind us. There was only one game played between the Celtics and 76ers where the first won in their home arena in a dramatic and exciting Game Seven. There were some players who performed quite well.

Who ranks on top? Without any further ado, let's start.

3. Jrue Holiday

One of the biggest surprises in this year's postseason, Philadelphia's point guard Jrue Holiday performed well against the Celtics on the road during Game Seven. Unfortunately, his performance just wasn't enough as he and his team failed to win on the road.

Nonetheless, Holiday was excellent. He was decent in terms of scoring despite his inefficient shooting from the field, found the open man nicely, was solid on the glass, he attacked the rim and was superb on defense with his activity on the lanes. The stats certainly back that up.

Jrue finished with 15 points, nine assists, three rebounds, five steals, four turnovers, shot 5-17 from the field, 2-6 from deep and 3-3 from the free throw line in 41 minutes of action. He was excellent even though the statistics don't show that.

2. Kevin Garnett

Perhaps the most valuable player of this playoff series for the Celtics, Kevin Garnett continued to shine in the same fashion with yet another brilliant performance. He was one of the main reasons why the hometown team won the crucial Game Seven against the 76ers.

Kevin was brilliant offensively once again. He led them again in scoring while providing his usual presence on the glass and protection on the paint on the defensive end of the court. He made a nice impact for his Boston and was the clear difference yet again.

Garnett scored 18 points, pulled down 13 rebounds, recorded two steals, committed one turnover, shot 7-17 from the field, 0-1 from three point land and 4-6 from the charity in 38 minutes of action out there. He was a factor for his Celtics in their big win.

1. Rajon Rondo

The No.1 place on this list belongs to a player that's not here for the first time. His name? Rajon Rondo. The Celtics' floor general was instrumental in his team's victory. He recorded his second triple double in this year's postseason to lead them to the second round.

Rajon was aggressive out there. He found his way to the rim where he scored in solid efficiency, was superb on the glass, involved his teammates on offense quite nicely and was good on defense as well. He had seven turnovers in the match, a very surprising stat from him.

Speaking of stats, Rondo's statistics look amazing. He poured in 18 points, dished out ten assists, grabbed 10 boards, lost seven balls, recorded three steals, shot 6-13 from the field, 1-4 from deep, 5-5 from the stripe in 42 minutes. He was off the charts!
